Aadi: A future I yearned-for

Mar 19, 2024

A few months ago, I realised how I run away from the idea of thinking about my future. I started to visualize my future self and a huge chunk of it was, “I want to be rich.” In terms of mindset and even money. Then, I digressed into the thought of how we as teenagers have started to think about money from such an early age.

Money is a magnet and most lives are driven by it. My thoughts moved into how I slowly might be driven by money and would forget about the art of giving. I imagined myself as this greedy person who would want more and would never be full of themselves. If not seen negatively, I would be lying if I said that humans don’t strive for money. Sometimes the mugged-up phrase, ‘sharing is caring’ becomes strange and unknown. I want my life to become about giving and not taking.

Starting this foundation is something that I plan to work on throughout my life. It is a way of tying knots with something which is completely about gratitude. It's about staying connected to the idea of ‘sharing is caring’. And I don’t want to be the only one who is linked, which is why  I want this generation to be connected with this idea even when they reach the age where they are the breadwinners of the family because people will not remember you by what you had, instead what you were ready to share with them.
